The 24 Hours of Summer Solstice presented by Glen Abbey Physiotherapy is North America’s Largest 24 Hour Mountain Bike Festival and Relay Event! With teams ranging from solo to ten person it’s perfect for the ultimate challenge or a weekend riding or racing with friends. Make the 24 Hours of Summer Solstice the highlight of your summer!
Event Schedule
The events will take place from 12 pm Saturday until 12 pm Sunday (noon to noon). All categories will compete for awards and winners jerseys.
The event begins on Saturday at 12 pm sharp for all teams.
2:00 pm – Move-In
5:00 pm – 9:00 pm – Event Kit Pickup
8:00 am – 11:00 am – Late Event Kit Pickup
(Waiver signing open all day for late riders)
10:00 am – Volunteer Meeting
11:00 am – Rider Meeting by Start (open to everyone)
12:00 pm – Event Starts
4:00 pm – Shimano Youth Event
(4:00 pm – 6 & under, 4:20 pm – 7 – 8, 4:40 pm – 9 & over)
7:30 pm – Light On Bikes Leaving, No Nights No More Laps

11:00 am – Freezie Chug Fest Contest

Shimano Technical Support
Exclusive to World Cup events, Shimano’s top-notch technicians will be present at our event! While they’re here mainly for mid-event emergency adjustments, we urge all riders to have their bikes pre-adjusted before the event begins.

Albion Hills Conservation Area, located in Caledon, Ontario, is a 1,200-acre outdoor destination managed by the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority. Lighting Technical Support
Power up! We have covered you with outlets in the chalet for those needing to charge their lights. Ensure you’re illuminated for the night trail!
Lighting Systems:
- Rentals: We no longer provide lighting system rentals.
- Purchase: Need a new lighting system? We'll have lighting systems available for direct purchase on-site.
Recommendations: For optimal visibility, we suggest:
- A rear flashing light.
- A light mounted on your helmet.
- A light on your handlebar.
- At a minimum, ensure you have one primary bike light and a backup light.
Retail Alert! Cycle Life will also have a range of lighting systems up for sale on site. Grab yours if you haven’t already!
Lighting Regulations
Safety first! Adhere to our lighting guidelines:
- Evening Start: All lighting systems need to be installed and active on bikes by 7:30 pm.
- Early Morning: Any rider departing from the timing tent before 6:00 am must have their lighting systems in place and operational.
Ride safe, stay illuminated, and enjoy the trail!
Waivers
Safety first! Ensure you’re ready to ride:
- Complete a Waiver: Every participant must fill out our waiver.
- Sticker Approval: Once done, you'll get a sticker for your bike, signaling you're good to go.
- Registration Check: At registration, show you've completed the waiver and get a sticker for your number plate.
