So Close to Toronto, So Much Fun!

Kelso once again plays host to the Ontario Cup Series, and is a great mid-season test, prior to the Ontario Championships. With a great location and the availability of long climbs, Kelso is the perfect place to host this series! Remember this race is still enjoyable for riders of all ability levels including first time racers.

The Course

Course Map Now Posted!

Weeding out Ontario's best riders is no easy task and to do so for Expert and Elite categories we'll be using the escarpment climb twice per lap. In addition to the lung-busting climbs, Expert and Elite riders can expect the most technical singletrack and just enough doubletrack to give ample space to pass.

Pre-Riding
The course will be pre-marked the weekend before the race, and will be open for pre-riding that week. All fees apply for racing and for the event (just normal gate fees on Saturday, August 7 & 8 without the mountain bike ad on fee).

8:30 am Beginner Men's and Women's categories are for riders without much off roading mountain bike experience and/or racing experience.
9:30 am or 11:30 am (depending on age) Try-An-Ocup or Sport Level Categories are for riders with a good mountain bike experience base and probably some experience racing.
1:30 pm Expert/Elite Level Racing is something to shoot for, but you can't start in these categories.
